I have also heard good things about it. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that long of a commitment though. As for Battlestar... I'm going to ignore the mean and hurtful things you just said about my most favoritest show. Actually, Erica wasn't wowed by the mini-series, but I have extracted a promise to give the show a chance. Hm, I hadn’t thought about Alias. I have also heard good things about it. I’m not sure if I’m ready for that long of a commitment though.

Looks good and blows up good, but it is neither clever, witty or even occasionally funny. Yes yes, it's supposed to be a space opera but its missing a lot of elements that made other good sci-fi shows 'good'. As far as the characters, I can't find a single one of them I like...well, maybe Adama because of his gravely voice. Most of the time, however, I literally want them all to be subdued or eradicated by the cylons. That, or cast me on the show so I can off them myself... I haven't watched a single episode of 'Alias' but I have heard some very good things from several people.
